‘Anger is a liquid’ negotiates the connection between gender and emotion. In three chapters the work deals with the topic of ‘female anger’ from different perspectives: In ‘Medusa‘s monologue’, the historical legendary figure of Medusa tells of her history in an open letter to her rage and appears as the matriarchal protective goddess of angry women by repeatedly pouring oil on the fire. In ‘Vectors’, two young women perform an exercise taken over from anti-aggression training, which is intended to make the physical affects of rage tangible. The final chapter ‘Anger is like liquid’ is a reflection on anger as a metaphorical expression in language.
