Philippe Roux is a French director born in 1988. Between 2010 and 2018, he directed a fifty of what he calls the «Films-Tests», oscillating between mysticism, fantastic, supernatural animations, experimental and surrealism, with the idea of living the artistic creation as a spiritual exercise. In 2018, he realized, The one who crossed the earth (Fantasy Drama, 19’, produced by the G.R.E.C.), then the same year co-founded Hotel Experimenta, an hybrid structure for artists from all over the world focus on their art in a hotel. In 2020, he works alongside the director Anton Bialas for the film Groupe Merle Noir and the director Eléonore Berrubé for the films Dies, Apocalyptic Poems and Girls From the baltic sea. He directed in 2021, Clarice into the abyss (Experimental fiction, 13’, produced by Hotel Experimenta). The same year, he met the musician Villeneuve, for whom he directed a musical film: The Cristal Drill. He is Know preparing a surrealist and experimental 45 minutes film: The Symphony of Silence.
