Questions about this fusional relationship of video games, digital art, this history, this relationship between us and the interface, between us and us. It’s a paradigm shift from the idea that video games are just entertainment or a hobby, and possibly into a new form of artistic expression. The world of video games is rich and varied. The audience is just as interested. Playing video games has become more than just a hobby. Real complex universes are developing and offering ever more realistic and sophisticated experiences to their users. Kamel is a digital artist, trainer and consultant who recently created an interactive augmented reality installation for a contemporary art exhibition. Passionate about ecology and the responsible use of technology, he is engaged in environmental art projects, mixing art and technology in a sustainable way. Kamel is an active member of the Land Art community and co-founder of the Unispheres association. He has participated in several Land Art 2.0 projects, notably in Venice for the Bioclimatic Pavilion of the European Union, and in Casablanca where he used artificial intelligence to create an adaptive installation. Kamel also teaches augmented and virtual reality programming to university students. Convinced that art and technology can contribute to a sustainable future, he continues to work on environmental art projects, using his skills in digital imagery, sound and video to raise awareness for the protection of our planet.
