Echoing through a room like a ripple in the water, an ego lingers in a sensitive body. Hiding. Holding on. As a person tosses and turns between their need to belong and seizing a chance to move on, a moment of awakening silently unfolds.

Ezra Belgrado obtained a Master in Animation Film / Audiovisual Arts in 2020 at the Royal School of Arts (KASK) in Ghent, Belgium. Her studies include a one-year Erasmus exchange at the Ecole nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (EnsAD) in Paris. Preceding and stimulating these artistic studies, Ezra graduated with a Master in Art History and Archaeology at the Free University of Brussels in 2014. Currently, she works part time in the organization of Anima The Brussels International Animation Film Festival, while developing new ideas for upcoming short films and artistic projects. In her work, Ezra explores themes of over- and in-sensitivity, of the collection of sensory and tacit knowledge, of our relationship with material culture and what 'matters' to us, of the experience of being in or out of touch with ourselves, with our body, with others, with our history, with our senses and our own presence.
