The “Red Fire”, is a wish or maybe a dream! A dream intertwined from the most living of my childhood story; from the love between a mountain and a little bird, voice of the who spoke to Muses and the ancient stories of my land, the final destination of the Light and the Darkness… and this fire, but blot out the rein of the darkness and nihility kindled by the hand of mortals.
Mona A. Shahi was born in Iran in 1983. She graduated from Sharif University of Technology with a BS in Physics and earned her MA in Directing Animation from Tehran University of Art. She’s been working professionally in the fields of animation scriptwriting and directing. Her animations had the chance of being selected or presented in many well-known festivals like, Atlanta, Hiroshima, Stuttgart, Animamundi, Zinebi and etc.
