Robbos is a 3-minute abstract film created with a focus of visualizing music through animation. The film consists of computer-generated neon particles in a dark space, where the movements and effects synchronize with the beats of the music. Robbos presents a progressing feeling of darkness and aggression.

We are a group of students studying Creative Media at the City University of Hong Kong. With an interest in non-narrative approaches to the moving image, we met each other in the Abstract and Experimental Animation course led by Dr. Max Hattler. Robbos is an abstract film we created with Ivan Shopov and Monolog’s music.
