“TELE VISION” is an experimental short film in which the media of television and the reception of visual technology are the main themes. Materiality in image and sound, such as glitches and noises from VHS tapes and other magnetic media, provide the aesthetic form. Electronic micro-interruptions stylize in an authentic way. Digital animation technology collides with video and sound technology from the past. Atmospheric analog sound design meets minimalist renderings for the moving image.
The media artist Paul Polze did his first experiences with the computer as production and design tool at the end of the 90s. After working for years in the media and design business, he explored of the artistic sides of film, digital animation and virtual reality.
