In March 2020, India went into complete lockdown for 21 days following the coronavirus outbreak, affecting millions of lives and livelihood. This animated film looks at life during the pandemic, specially in urban India where people used different mediums to stay connected to the outside world, often immersing themselves in the digital world. A slice of life film sharing vignettes from ordinary day to day activities to surreal experiences.

Biswajit Das is an independent filmmaker and visual artist based in Guwahati, India. He has directed and edited many documentary films and TV series. During the pandemic, he taught himself hand drawn animation and in the past year, created more than 100 short animation videos, from real to surreal genre. He draws frame by frame on paper, colours them and compiles digitally to create his animation films.
