The Paper Plane tells the story of Jad, an 8-year-old boy who loves to make paper airplanes. He also happens to have learning difficulties which makes him face challenges in speaking and reading. His story and the barriers faced on his first days of school, are seen through the eyes of Jana, a little girl who becomes his friend. In her storytelling, Jana takes the viewers on a journey to discover learning difficulties, as perceived by a child. She shows how through understanding, adaptation and support, children can be agents of change in their schools and in their communities and promote inclusive education for all learners.
