Influenced by the work of avant-garde filmmaker Stan Brakhage. The film focuses on the creation of cinema from the interaction between time and light. It starts with the attempt to catch the light with my camera/eye and through the digitally filmed painting on celluloid, it ends up with the direct creation on the “cinema material”.
The limitations of our senses make me question the boundaries between illusion and reality, and how imagination contributes to our perception of the real. My practice is motivated by an investigation in human consciousness, altered states of mind and our relationship with nature.
