A young girl moves to a tropical city to start her life. After experiencing harassment on a train, she learns the unique way that people in the city keep themselves safe. Walking at Knight was made as a student short film at Rhode Island School of Design. It strives to share a difficult emotional truth about
vulnerability using fantasy, rich color, and humor.
Faye Thomas is a Junior at Rhode Island School of Design. Originally from Southwest Florida, she loves the beach and the ocean, common themes in her illustrations and animations. She hopes to continue to make work that shares the often-overlooked stories of young women. In January 2020 she worked as a VFX intern on the Adult Swim show The Shivering Truth.
