Yuha’s Nightmares is a simulation game about the dreams and nightmares of a character named Yuha, the virtual doppelganger behind game developer Yuliya Kozhemyako (aka Supr). Yuha’s realistic and coherent dreams can suddenly turn nonsensical and confused. During her disturbed sleep, she can see through walls, unexpectedly move from one place to another, and see the ‘underside’ of the digital world. The first episode of the game, Catastrophe, which is presented here, is set in the protagonist’s room. The player is invited to explore the built environment, collect objects, and find a way out of a building that is on the verge of collapse. «It might be not only the house but the entire world that is crumbling, but who knows, maybe there is still a safe place to be found.»
