From the quarries of Zaragoza and the alabaster under the microscope, passing through a human manufacture, to the pixel of light through the alabaster, the sound composition of Amadeo Savio and the video creation of Jésus s. Baptista interact with each other, and dialogue with the viewer in space. A narrative video diptych of a look at alabaster from two viewpoints depicting a common scene. A duality that opposes and meets, the very essence of human labor on stone.

Jésus join the 2022-2024 cohort of the contemporary art studio Le Fresnoy. In June 2016, I obtained my National Higher Diploma in Plastic Expression at the Haute École des Arts du Rhin, specializing in Visual Didactics. This option places artistic mediation at the heart of its reflection. Subsequently, he developed his practice in VJing and mapping, as well as techniques in video and light projections, which are now the main components of my approach. He designed immersive installations exhibited at Nuit Blanche in Paris, the Ososphère festival in Strasbourg, the international Constellations festival in Metz, the SAT (Society for Arts and Technology) in Montreal, the House of Electronic Arts Basel, the Château de Beaugency - Center for Digital Art, as well as at the CDSA Prize in Hangzhou, China, and at the Biennale of Contemporary Art in Sélestat. Composer and sound designer, Amadeo Savio grew up in Eastern France where he was introduced to electronic music at an early age. An artist with multiple projects that reveal two very distinct sides of his personality, he enjoys transitioning from ambient and field recording to club music.
