“ECHOPHERE” is an audiovisiological experimental film in which digital experimental animation illustrates spherical soundscapes. The visuals are the audiovisiological and audioreactive accompaniment of soundscapes designed using a single analog drone synthesizer. Tape-based media technologies such as tapenoise in sound and image provide an analog media aesthetic to the digital 3D animations.
The media artist Paul Polze did his first experiences with the computer as production and design tool at the end of the 90s. After working for years in the media and design business, he explored of the artistic sides of film, digital animation and virtual reality.
