A Single Spark is a hand-drawn animated short about Zia, a non-magical young woman who struggles to find acceptance in a world filled with magical people. It follows her on an average day as she tries to sell lamps to the dismissive magical citizens. Suddenly, her city is threatened by a problem only she can solve.
The animated short, A Single Spark, was produced as a collaboration between students in Missouri State University’s Electronic Arts and BFA Computer Animation programs. It was created by Chaela Carter, Sabrina Merrill, Anna Russell.
