Coolpix is a short animation comprised of photographs taken in a non-linear order throughout the duration of a year with a Nikon 4300 Coolpix camera. The aggregate photos are re-sequenced into categories, such as by form, subject, color, personal association– starting to catalog and make sense out of the unposed photos of everyday existence.
The rapid pacing animates the still images, using formal continuity to fill out spaces between memories, while generating a restlessness that comes with living in a time inundated with objects and stimuli.
