A strange dialogue between an interviewer and a newborn baby takes places while images of mayflies living their lives are recorded.
At the same time having created the Lyon Young Film Festival, Jean-Félix Laval managed many audiovisuel projects like videoclip or Corporate Videos. But always loved make short movies specially fiction. Éphémère ("short-lived") was one of the short movie where he could free from financial or material aspects because of the quarantine/confinement. Laval wanted to express the strongly relationship between the birth and the death passing by the tools of the edit, the sound and the image. The words of the baby must be viewed as a whole in this approach about the short-lived of life. At the time he studies law and cinéma in my Master Degree to work in production and also making movies as a director.
