A project was adapted from the word, “Contemporary” combined with “KHON”, a traditional Thai masked dance drama, to be a rotoscope animation based on its concept and movement digitally, which shows the past adjusted beyond to new one with digital process. A story that rearranged from the original epic was about a character who was expelled across the borderline of god to the present city of humans to survive and begin new experiences.

Methas Chantawongs is an art practitioner who was born in 1994, based in Bangkok, Thailand. Methas graduated with B.F.A. in Film and digital media in 2016, then started working as a composer along with contemporary art-making, especially in the field of experimental videos. From this aspect, the visual elements on every frame are similar to the musical instruments, which harmonize with each other in different roles composed on a track. His works were awarded and exhibited internationally.
