Leipzig Noir was initially created as a piece of music for flute with electronics. The video work, which is composed of clips recorded by a biologist in the sea, was created later. The clips show jellyfish-like aquatic animals. These show the evolution in the sea. The film is an attempt to create an infinite mirror effect.
