The trilogy explores the relation of humans to technology in the XXI century, which is unpredictable, confusing, and full of possibilities. Manus x Machina was the name of the MET gala in 2016, and this project adds to the relation between the maker’s hand and the technological tool of the element of morality. The trilogy contains three videos: Spine 2.0, X<3Y, and Sublime Search Engine.
Igor Simic graduated from Columbia University, New York, in Film Studies and Philosophy. His award-winning films were screened at film festivals and in the art context. Igor is represented by Galerie Anita Beckers in Frankfurt. He is also the creative director of the gaming company Demagog Studio.
