From São Bernardo do Campo to São Sebastião, passing through the Andes Mountains and Central Park, sometimes the connection is indescribable and inexplicable…rationality is not enough, it is necessary to let feeling act.
BERNARD SNOW is part of my most recent research and artistic creation, and which is within the methodology and parameters of what I created, Cinema do Chaos, a way of making cinema that transcends the need for a script, a defined or pre-defined narrative structure , where the relationship with doing and with the spectator is in the key of the intuitive and sentimental, a pure cinema, of fruition and communication with the soul, where artist, spectator and work are all subjects.
A “maker of films” and poet, graduated in Hystory at PUC-SP with a master in Environmental Education and with a degree in Cinema at ELCV. He is a partner at DGT Filmes, an independent film production company founded in 1999, where he produced feature length and short movies and gathered many prizes. In 2020 part of his experimental work was shown at Projeto Quarentena Projetada (IMS and Mídia Ninja), at the show Art120” (CC Vale Maranhão), at Homeostasis Lab, at Efêmero Festival and at Projeto Janelas da Distopia. Two experimental feature length films were exhibited at 15th Sao Paulo Latin American Film Festival. He has published the article “Cinema do Caos manifest, where cinema is the subject” in partnership with professor Dr. Eduardo Antônio Bonzatto, in Pragmatismo Político magazine and Super9 Mobili Festival. His first short movie, “Gorgonas” has just reached 2 mm views at Asian video platform Vidsee.
