“Until My Fingers Bleed” is an experimental documentary, in which the images of the artistic performance intersect with the archival materials of the official government media channels. The film explores the potential of the image when crossing varied artistic supports and blurs the boundaries between documentary and poetic creation. That is, the spectacularization of the speech and the potential acting of the current president are beyond the documentary, approaching a kind of fictionalized reality, by bringing out a perverse poetics.

Vado Vergara was born in Brazil, and graduated in Audiovisual Production. In 2016, he created the producer company Pocilga Filmes. His debut film as an author, Flowers, received the LAWRENCE KASDAN AWARD FOR BEST NARRATIVE FILM (Oscar® Qualifying Award) at the 57th Ann Arbor Film Festival. Vado Vergara received the BEST DIRECTION award in 51º Festival de Brasília do Cinema Brasileiro. Within the Production area, Vado Vergara produced the feature lenght Documentary “Mirante”, which was released in 2019 and selected in festivals such as Vancouver International Film Festival and the Biarritz Amérique Latine Festival. Currently, Vado Vergara is distributing his short doc "Até Que Meus Dedos Sangrem" and developing his next project - FRONT, which was selected for the LAB of Projects of the 28º Curta Cinema – Rio de Janeiro International Film.
