Elise's films are as much about light, textures, colours and sound as they are about narrative. Existing on the edge of consciousness, they rely on experience and sensations to tell their story, forever looking for an expression of the unknown... Co-founder and former member of the Montreal animation collective Astroplastique, Elise continues to experiment with her art project group(e)collecti(ve/f) - building form and content from shared processes and cross-pollination. Part-time teacher at Concordia University in Montreal, Elise enjoys meeting new talents and cultivating ideas.
