Cry(p)(s)tolizing is an interactive art piece that explores the contrast between the slow and natural process of crystallization in the physical world and the fast and algorithmic generation of cryptocurrencies and NFT artworks in the digital world. The audience must make sounds to transform cubic shapes into crystals, while changing shapes are spontaneously generated to metaphorically represent the quickness of generating crypto art. The project aims to raise awareness of the abundance of crypto artworks and remind people to cherish the slowness of life and nature. Ultimately, the piece emphasizes the importance of time and invites the audience to gain a peaceful experience while observing the spinning Cry(p)(s)tols.
