When coming back to Portugal last Christmas and visiting his grandma, he realized that there was a subtler and slower kind of storytelling that he had always been afraid of tackling. He spent most of his childhood in his grandma’s house, with her being a very important person to him so he decided to make this film as a “thank you” letter while exploring this slower side of storytelling. He hopes he left enough blank spaces for people to fill with their own experiences and memories.
