When coming back to Portugal last Christmas and visiting his grandma, he realized that there was a subtler and slower kind of storytelling that he had always been afraid of tackling. He spent most of his childhood in his grandma’s house, with her being a very important person to him so he decided to make this film as a “thank you” letter while exploring this slower side of storytelling. He hopes he left enough blank spaces for people to fill with their own experiences and memories. He is a Portuguese filmmaker, currently working as a 2D designer in Ireland. He started my studies at Escola Artistica Soares dos Reis in Portugal and studied animation at Arts University Bournemouth. Since he started studying art, he's always tried to direct and create short films and comics.
