This work talks about infodemics disorder and the impossibility of escaping into a hyper-connected world. Through the use of the datamosh, the images of a rat looking for a refuge on the sidewalks of Coney Island blend together with those of an indifferent and busy Manhattan sidewalk.

Filming took place in early March 2020 in New York, just before the lockdown.
Matteo Campulla (Iglesias, Sardinia - 1982) lives and works in Milan. Graduated from the "Foiso Fois" Art School in Cagliari, before choosing video as his main medium, he experimented in many fields, especially with the sound that still accompanies most of his works. After various experiences as an assistant set designer and toolmaker, both in the theatrical field and in advertising productions, in 2011 he joined a small Sardinian private television training as a television production technician. In 2013 he won the “Premio BABEL” as the best Sardinian Video Artist Under 35. His works, as well as being exhibited in important public spaces, have been part of numerous Video Art Festivals around the world. From 2020 he is part of the artists of the Galerie ROMPONE, based in Köln (Germany).
