Up You Go is a 2D animated short film about a little boy trying to send a star back to the sky. As he tries
to send the star back up, he experiences several mishaps that will test his determination. The film is
designed like a children’s storybook with simple shape designs, straightforward storytelling and saturated
colours that would make the film something lighthearted and easy to watch for audiences of all ages.
Roxann is a story artist, animator and illustrator from Singapore. Having been interested in cartoons from a young age, she has spent years in schools learning how to make animation films. She likes creating stories that are not only adorable but also have the ability to tug, if not, tickle one's heartstrings.
