anne Brouwer is a Dutch animator, illustrator and visual developer based in Utrecht who graduated from HKU (Utrecht University of the Arts) in 2021. Her work mainly revolves around sparking charm, humor and wonder. There is often an otherworldly element and a gentle, safe ambience to what she makes. In her films, she translates internal mental workings into visual narratives using approachable character art, a mix of analogue and digital techniques, and rich, harmonious colors and compositions.
